Peanut Butter Biscuits

An image of homemade dog bone shaped peanut butter dog treats. Optional corn starch icing and sprinkles are shown on one side of the treats.
Ingredients

Directions

In your mixing bowl add the peanut butter and milk.

In a separate bowl, combine the baking powder and wheat flour.

Slowly add these powder ingredients to the peanut butter and milk mixture.
Combine all of the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Using parchment paper, sprinkle a tiny bit of wheat flour on the surface and roll out the dough to reach your desired dog treat thickness. Using your dog bone cookie cutters, cut out dog treats and place them onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 -20 minutes.

Optional Corn Starch Icing

Ingredients

2 tbsp cornstarch (*rice or potato flour works well if your dog is sensitive to corn)
2 tsp water
1 tsp honey

Directions

Whisk ingredients together thoroughly in a bowl. A thick, paste-like mixture should form. Use a pastry brush to apply to cooled treats or dip one end of treat into icing. If you are dipping, rotate dog biscuits until desired coverage is achieved.

Top each treat immediately with sprinkles.
*Refrigerate iced treats to avoid spoilage.
