Hello, dear pet parents!
We understand the concerns you may have about ensuring your pet is receiving the best care possible while you’re away. One of the most common questions we receive is, “How can I tell if the pet care specialist has visited my pet?” Today, I’m going to share some tips on how you can easily identify if a pet care specialist has been to visit your pets.
1. Use Technology:
We use Precise Petcare Software! It offers real-time updates and reporting. There is also a color coding system for your visits so you can easily see the status of each visit. When you first request your visits, they are WHITE. When your visits have been approved and confirmed, they are GREEN. When your visits are in progress, they are BLUE. When your visits have been completed, they are GRAY. So if you are wondering about the status of any visit, log in to your account and view your color coded Schedule.
***All visits are GPS tracked. While you may not be able to see this information, rest assured that a manager can. The software will automatically alert us if a pet care specialist has not arrived at their scheduled time. Another pet care specialist is immediately dispatched to care for your pets in the event that the original specialist assigned to the visit cannot make it for any reason.
2. Check the Journal:
With Precise Petcare Software, a Journal is created for every visit. You can view your journal at the top of your dashboard when you log into your account. An email with a link to the journal will also be sent to you! The journal includes details about the visit, such as the activities performed (like feeding, walking, playing), and any observations about your pet’s behavior. The pet care specialist will also include photos or videos of your pet during their visit.
3. Look for Physical Evidence:
A pet care specialist will always leave your home just as they found it. If not better than they found it! but there may be subtle signs of their visit. For example, your pet’s food and water bowls may be freshly filled, or their toys may be in different places.
4. Monitor Your Pet's Behavior:
Pets are creatures of habit. When a pet care specialist has visited, your pet will most likely be more relaxed and content due to the attention and care they’ve received. Though the excitement of seeing mom or dad come home will most certainly have them all hyped up for the first few minutes after walking in the door!
Conclusion:
Remember, our goal is to provide not only the best, but above and beyond care for your animal companions and your home while you’re away. By knowing how to use our software, you can have complete peace of mind any time.
